UV Sensor TOCON_nano

February 2009, - Scitec Instruments has introduced the new TOCON_nano UV sensor for measuring extremely low UV radiation intensities.

The device uses an integrated pre-amp and is based on a 0.22 mm² active area low noise SiC detector chip. Applications are burner control and other low-intensity measurements. One nano watt of radiation, at the window, results in an output voltage of approximately 500 mV.
