Near-UV Laser Diode Module at 405 nm

July 2009, - Scitec Instruments introduces the Violet-405 near UV laser diode module from Oxxius.

The Violet-405 laser diode module offers a collimated optical beam in a compact radial package with an output power of up to 100 mW. Advanced electronics ensure precise temperature and power control, maximising diode lifetime. Output power can be adjusted manually or modulated through analogue and TTL controls. Its power stability and low noise characteristics make it ideal for a wide range of applications, especially in fluorescence and sensing. In addition, its compact design allows for easy integration into a variety of environments.

The Violet-405 is available in a “Plug & Play” version, compliant with CE and CDRH safety standards, and includes a universal power supply. An “OEM” version for system integrators requires a 5V power supply. Holding brackets to help attach the module to a base plate are delivered with each laser.

Additional accessories include precision mounts and universal power supplies.
