ED Driver
The ED driver is a closed-loop oscillator that operates
the CH line of resonant choppers at their natural resonant frequency. The ED
driver provides a square wave reference output signal and has a frequency range
of 5 Hz to 20 kHz.
AGC Driver
The AGC driver operates the CH line of resonant scanners
at their natural frequency. It has Automatic Gain Control Circuitry which
automatically regulates the motion amplitude of the resonant device. The AGC
driver improves amplitude stability by approximately 10 times compared to the
unregulated models and also provides precise control over a wide temperature
range. The AGC-VC driver control the amplitude of the resonant device by an
external input voltage (0-5 V). The AGC-EXT driver sets the frequency of the
resonant device by an external clock input.
PLD-1C Driver
The PLD-1C driver phase locks a resonant tuning fork
chopper to an external clock signal. The phase relationship to the clock is
factory set to the customer's requirements (0° to 360°) and is front
panel adjustable over a range of ±45° min. The PLD-1C driver is a
fully integrated driver with front panel controls and internal power supplies.
The PLD-1C-PC driver is a printed circuit board level driver which requires an
external ±15 V dc power supply.
PLD-2C Driver
The PLD-2C driver phase locks two resonant tuning fork
choppers (chopper "A" and chopper "B") in a Master/Slave mode. Chopper "B" is
phase locked to chopper "A" (the slave is locked to the master). The phase
relationship to the master is factory set to the customer's requirements
(0° to 360°) and is front panel adjustable over a range of
±45° min. The PLD-2C driver is a fully integrated driver with front
panel controls and internal power supplies. The PLD-2C-PC driver is a printed
circuit board level driver which requires an external ±15 V dc power
supply.
